包　[タンブラー ] 黒銀

黒漆による仕上げ塗りのタンブラー。
内側には、プラチナ箔（銀色）を施しました。

ガラスの断面も黒漆を施しているため、漆黒と銀色の渋い一品です。
お酒が入るとガラスの奥の銀色が広がり、お酒の水面が揺れると銀色が揺れます。

「包」はガラスに漆を塗った器ではありません。漆だけを25回以上塗り重ねることでカタチをつくっています。漆だけを塗り重ねた約1mmの薄さの飲み口はしっとりと優しい口当たり。日本酒から、ビール、ウイスキー水割り・ロックまで、さまざまな飲み物の味わいを深く感じていただけます。

ガラスの凹凸と漆のしっとりとした質感が手に心地よくなじみます。自分にあった持ち方を見つけることも楽しみのひとつ。タンブラーの華やかな存在感は、還暦や米寿など特別な日のお祝いや贈り物にもぴったりです。

ガラス破片の中には、亀裂が入っているものもあります。
ガラスを割る際に生じるこの亀裂を「烈（れつ）」と呼んでいます。
破損の可能性があるガラス破片は使用しませんが、
ごく浅い亀裂の破片は敢えて使用することがあります。
漆は9,000年前の縄文遺跡から発掘されるほど、長くその形を保ちます。
漆は「悠久」の時を内包しているのです。

一方、ガラスの破片は形あるものが割れた瞬間の「刹那」を持っています。
亀裂の入ったガラス破片を使用するのは、その刹那を感じるためです。
ガラス破片と漆を融合させること。それは刹那から悠久へ続く時間の表現でもあるのです。

ガラス破片の周りを漆で固めていること、ガラス破片表面にはコーティングを施すことで、
亀裂の進行を抑えています。
